Furanase is an anti-infectious agent used to control gram negative and gram positive infections. It truly possesses a wide antibacterial spectrum and its most common use is for the treatment of mouth fungus, fin or tail rot, cotton wool disease and black molly disease. Furanase should be used when fish become injured, surface wounds are present or when fish become listless. It has excellent immediate effectiveness and will not harm aquatic plant life. Check the water quality before and after treatment using a test kit as this product may harm beneficial nitrifying bacteria.
